Lamb Jalfrezi

So tonights dinner was cooked up by Dave, curry is a typical man’s comfort dish! I was only too delighted to have a hot dinner served up to me as soon as I walked through the door! This curry dish is a Lamb jalfrezi, it is tomoato based so its not spicy hot, its sweet and sour. Dave made the jalfrezi paste from scratch (fancy) and threw in a lot of mixed vegetables including sweet potato, green beans, peppers, onions, along with chickpeas and lamb to give it substance. Its a dish that really gets into the “nooks and crannies” (i.e. it really fills you up)

This particular Jalfrezi recipe is an adaption from Jaime Olivers Ministry of food recipe book.

This was a perfect midweek pick me up, especially after a long day! serve with fluffy naan breads and rice, beers are optional! 🙂
